What's the softest microfiber you've ever used?
Like, if you're really really pampering your car (or a customer's car), what do you use??
Keep in mind, I am extremely bored on this rainy Saturday afternoon and am simply looking to strike up some conversation... But I'd still like to know what kind of microfibers you guys enjoy using.:help

I have ultra-soft Acura black paint, and if you even think of the word "swirls", it gets them. After trying several different brands, the most plush that I could find that wouldn't damage the paint was Eurow Shag MF towels. They're now the only brand that I use on painted surfaces.

Yeah... I'm gonna give those a shot... I've recently found that these are RIDICULOUSLY soft - http://autogeek.net/microfiber-towel-2.html
Anyone else have any suggestions?

I've tried a lot, not all.
The most plush I've found up to a week ago was the Danase PHAT microfiber. Bob Daniels, owner at www.Danase.com sells them. PHAT is an acronym (what a surprise!) for plush, heavy and thick. Great towels.
The new contender is the Cobra Shamrock. 750 grams per sq. meter of plush. More grams per sq. m means greater thickness which usually translates into greater plushness. These are about 10 bucks usd at autogeek and 750 g/m2 is the current king of the hill.
If you don't already have one or two, go get a couple of the big clear plastic containers with lids. Put clean microfibers in one, dirty in the other.
You don't want extraneous crud like sawdust, dust, leaf bits, any sort of random contamination falling on your microfibers. Once the crud gets on the towel, it tends to stick like glue to the surface, just because of the grabbing properties of the towel.
Near my radial arm saw was an old microfiber. Sawdust kicked up onto the towel and it was a royal pain to pick off all the little bits with tweezers etc. Shaking and swearing didn't work. They're all in plastic now.
Check out the Cobra Shamrock.

Supreme 530s are the softest we sell, and the Shamrocks are awesome as well.

The best MF towel I have ever used and the only one I will use now comes from Griot's.
Plus taking care of the MF towel is as important as the towel...well almost.
I only wash MF towels by them self. I use a MF formula soap sold by Griot's to wash the towels. Dry the MF towels by them self and NO dryer sheets

I use to use those Eurow Shag towels but the edges are not silk and can scratch the paint, but they are super soft.
I use Detailer's Domain Uber towels, or Pak Shak towels.

:buttrock Supreme 530s are the best. I have nearly 25 of them. Love them. One side is insanely soft and plush for light polishing and dusting, and the other side is more rigid- better at removing waxes and polishes.
I've used the Shamrock towels a couple times now, and have determined that they are almost too soft...
