Got bored. Took some new shots of the car...

I got bored yesterday, so I took some pics of my car. Since the last time I posted pics I've done some changes.

Chrome kidneys to Black kidneys
Remove Angels (replaced with city lights)
Changed Depo clear corners to OEM clear corners

A definite improvement but I was never a fan of clear corners on a black car.
But the original ones were so bad I'm not mad at you at all.
Maybe some Forever Black on your rear mouldings? And your paint seems to be in good condition, judging by where you park you'd probably benefit from a clay bar session.

I'd also recommend smoking the corners. I have double smoked corners and they look hot. I don't think I like how dark the turn indicators are on the back though... seems like it would be very difficult for someone to see that you are turning.

I would like maybe one coat of tint on the corners. As far as the back tails go, I think they are ebay and came on the car upon purchase. I would like to get maybe the stockers or the euro version and tint them.

ddmtuning sells some smoked tails for around $100 i think. I just got em for my car and love em. They are about half as dark as yours. Though looking at the pictures again they arent as dark as I thought originally.

Have you popped your car into reverse, pulled the ebrake, and put a blinker on to see how bright they are standing behind the car?

I was always into performance not appearance. Makes for a nice sleeper:devillook. I have a ways to go before I finish with my motor. Maybe once I'm done I will be close to 220+ whp. Appearance will end up last on my list.

Yeah. I have no problem with the someone behind not seeing the blinkers or stop lamps. I do know that reverse is not as bright in my previous owned vehicles. I'm not really complaining. You should have seen how the car looked a year ago when I first purchased it. I will post a pic. I got bashed really bad then.:shifty

Pics of my car when I first bought it almost a year ago:eyecrazy. I miss the rims but as the saying goes, "Good things come to those who wait". I'm looking for some M3 rims or the 328i sport package rims:D.

I like the way corners look. I just don't want mines as dark. I like the Euro tails too. I'm really feelin' the rims. Sets the car off.

Thanks. Why did you get rid of your rims? If I were in the market for rims right now I'd prolly go with some ASA AR2's or CSL Reps. 17in has been good for me, though 18 would also work.

I got rid of the rims because I was having major tire wear on the inside from negative camber. I believe it had something to do with my rear suspension being worn. I'll get another set someday.

Heh. Now that i look at them a second time they dont look so appealing. Just out of curiosity, how much did you get the depos for? and i cant tell from the picture but are there angel eyes? how much were they?
