What is the best way to remove dried polish in paint chips on the front of the hood? 50/50 water/rubbing alcohol did not do it.

Thanks.

Try using an old tooth brush. It gets all the old wax and stuff too. Good luck! :)

Try all iso.

Hmm, I'll have to try the toothbrush & iso - I've got dried wax in between the tiny molded letters on the red section of my DEPO taillights - very unsightly.

I like how you think. Put it back immediately after the job and she'll never know. :)

MLess5 - make a mental note that that wax has a white residue. You'll want to use a wax that doesn't leave a residue next time. As a bonus, the ones that leave no residue won't mark up your trim either.
Three that don't leave white residue are: Pinnacle Souveran, Vic. Concours, Collinite 845. With time, I could come up with more.
