This is a true dream car....This is the kind of car that every car enthusiast should have a chance to experience at least once in their life.

Circumstances dictate that I sell my Dream Car…
Other than the aggressive look, around town it is just another well behaved 3-series sedan. But, when you hit that on-ramp or that twisty mountain road, lay down the hammer and hold on tight! The acceleration, cornering and braking are incredible!

The car is a 1998 M3 Sedan with a little over 38,000 miles on it. The car has always been garaged and well maintained. I believe I am the third owner of the car. According to the prior owner, the original owner had the car as a show car and supposedly won a number of show awards. I in no way can back that up with any paper at all...
other than to say anything that was added to this car was absolutely top drawer, with no expense spared. For example, the aero package is made by AC Schnitzer, the wheels are Hamann, The brakes by Brembo, the power is by Dinan, and the list goes on.

The car is in great shape, just no longer in show shape. It drives and runs well. It has some small body defects, the wheels have curb rash, there's a couple of rock dings, and a piece of trim in the front is slightly bent. The suspension is stiff and therefore produces a few rattles here and there. The engine, clutch, and gearbox operate like velvet. I love the way this car runs. The acceleration is exhilarating, the cornering is on rails, and the stopping power of the Brembo's is phenomenal.

I took the car into Dinan recently for a checkup (fortunately I live in the same town as Dinan) they said the car was in great shape and stated that they would be willing, for a reasonable fee, to do an evaluation for any prospective buyer. They also supplied a list of items that at some point should be addressed to keep the car in top shape.

For more information on the car, contact me at 408-309-2843. I am located in Morgan Hill, California.
If you are seriously interested in the car, bring your mechanic, or arrange for Dinan to do an evaluation. You won’t be disappointed.
Thanks for looking,
John

Are you near the bay area? My bro lives in san jose. He can check it out for me. Ill be honest, I like that fact that its a sedan, supercharged and stick. But I dont like the body kit or the rims. Just my taste, I like a stock exterior. How easy is it to remove it? Are they replacement bumpers. If so, do you have the stock bumpers and wheels to sell with the car?

Those are just replacement bumpers. Buy some new ones from DDM (less than 400 bucks), have them sprayed, and swap them.

You have a rare car if it was stock with no "ricer" additions, I just helped someone sell there M3/4/5 with 26k for around 15k without any modifications. If you just leave the supercharger and replace the body back to it's ORIGINAL parts, I'm sure you'll have this sold. GLWS and here's a bump so it can go to an enthusiast from here who will take care of it.

Idiots:nuts, im not sayin i would make my car look like that, or very many BMW guys would like there cars to look like that, but its still a nice car a could fit some people's taste. Or the better idea would be to return to stock and rock a mint m3

Sorry for the delayed response...I was out of town w/o web access...yes, I'm in the San Jose area.

I don't disagree with you on the looks of the car. When I first went to see it, I was put off by the "boy racer" appearance, but since I drove 100+ miles to see it I went ahead and drove it, that's all it took.

I certainly had plans to return the car to a more stock appearance, but time and money have gotten in the way. I guess in my own mind, when I'm not driving it, it's in the garage, and when I'm in it, I don't see it. Just like the over-the-top stereo...I almost never turn it on, I'd much rather listen to the engine.
I will say that the guy that put the effects on did so with competition in mind, the Schnitzer effects were the factory authorized package and they do, in fact work. When you get into the "higher" speeds, the car is rock solid. The Hamman wheels allow for phenomenal grip, but a light set of 18" wheels would be better.
Warts and all, it's a great car to drive.
