QUESTION, DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE TORQUE IS ON THE DOGBONE SHAPED LINK, LINKS THE TRAILING ARM TO THE SUBFRAME CHASIS SOMETIMES CALLED THE PITMAN ARM, ON A 524TD? 2 BOLTS ON EACH ARM. ANY ADDITIONAL INFO WILL BE APPRECIATED.. THANKS, J.

YES, IF YOU CAN FIND IT IN THE MANUAL I WOULD APPRECIATE IT. IT IS ALSO CALLED A TRAILING ARM LINK. THANKS 86' MODEL.

In my Bentley manual it says that the trailing arm to rear axle carrier (rubber bushing though-bolt and nut) should be torqued to 67 Nm or 49 ft-lb.
This is from the Bentley manual for 528e, 533i, 535i, 535is years 1982-1988.
