Not 100% Inclusive...I'll probably improve upon this at some point. But until then...hope it helps some of the newcomers.

Very informational and easy to understand despite "speaking a little quick". Keep it up!

I have a question: I want to clean my headlights based on DIY from here:

http://www.bmwe36blog.com/2007/07/30/cleaning-bmw-e36-ellipsoid-headlight-diy/

and I wonder if it would be a good idea NOT to install back the round glasses. The E46 doesn't have them in the first place.

Just to be sure this is the round glass that I want to remove:

What do you think?
How will it look and how it will perform?

I so needed schooling on HIDs and learned plenty ! Thanks a lot for this, atleast I know now to hold off on getting HIDs in my DEPOs for now. Any chance of getting fabrication info for the projectors ?

Very nice, Thank you.
In Video 2, you point out the uptick, then the phone rings, and you never finish explaining the uptick when you continue to describe the cut-off line. Can you elaborate what it is there for?

I watched it again, and still don't see the purpose of the uptick. He says the cut-off line keeps light from shining upward (into oncoming traffic presumably), but no eplaboration on the purose of the uptick, it seems to me the uptick would make sort of stepped pattern in the light output like this:

\-----\ /-----/

That is if I saw it correctly in the video of what the uptick looked like. Why does it create that pattern, and not just go straight across like this:
\----------------/
