I just got a X-brace and need to know if I need to goto the dealer for screws/bolts to install this? I only have the X-brace and no bolts..

And does anyone have a link to X-brace installation steps or give any help to this subject?

TIA

I think you can get some of the bolts at home Depot......
here's the link:

Here is all the info you need regarding bolts and how tight you should make them.

Its strange you did not get the hardware to install the X brace. When i ordered mine from Pacific BMW i got all the hardware needed for install. You might want to ask who you purchased it from why you did not get any. Anyways make sure you follow the directions kevlar posted and dont over torque and use some locktite on the bolt threads.

happy motoring

Where did you get the chrome grills? My car is Hellrot, and I think the chrome looks great.

Thanks

The grill I made myself from car parts.. check out the chrome trim section and grab the door moldings chrome trim.. cut it so it fits the lenght and sqeeze it on!

Gonna try to do the Xbrace install soon.. I have the 4 M-80 bolts needed.. just have to make sure that my car has the nut rivets or not.

Also need to install some sways.. anyone got any suggestions or ideas they want to throw in... I got all these parts used.. the sways and xbrace so any install suggestions would be useful.

Thanks IA
