hey guys,

so i got a new abs module part installed in my car...took it to the dealership today to recode it...but then they told me that it's the wrong part!!! it said that the car was supposed to have the ESC module instead of the DSC module......what's the difference?!?! can someone please shed a light on this? thanks!

btw, i got a 2000 528i....

it was the dsc module...i gotta get things figured out but i'll let u know if i do need to sell it.....

and after talking to the dealership, there are actually two batches of modules for the 2000 e39s. i'm not sure if ppl are aware cuz throughout all my searches on this forum and google, there was no mention of this. the first batch of modules were ESC, which are more traction control oriented and it's the older version. the new version is the DSC, which is more of a stability control. hence, the person who got me the part after i gave em the specs of my car screwed up!!! >.<
