Ok guys, it's finally time to put the car up on the block for sale. I've had the car for almost 2.5 years now (crazy, longest I've ever kept a car in my life). Bought the car from Matt in a pile of parts (from matt :shifty), and have reconstructed it into the awesomeness that it is today. I have a HUGE parts list below, and pictures as well. The car sat for ~6 months after I bought it before I got the engine and trans in, among other things. I first drove it ~200 miles in the fall of '06, it ran it's first autox in November of '06, then sat until the following spring, when it ran it's first HPDE in March of '07. It was a spare car, and wasn't drive much at that point, until my Jeep went away after new years of '08. Then it was my DD until I bought my current car in probably October-ish (I think??). I've put MAYBE 16k miles on the car since purchase.
The car has seen ~1.5 seasons of autox duty. 2 HPDE weekends at Road Atlanta, and a track day at TGPR (Little Talladega). Has never left me stranded. Engine is stock, stock chip, stock airbox, stock exhaust. Passes emissions with flying colors (I have both emissions sheets, I believe it passed
last time with something like 6ppm HC. Super clean I'll scan the last one and post it). JUST adjusted the valves, and replaced the valve cover gasket, along with those 4 little rubber plugs under the VC gasket on the front and back of the head. And the spark plugs. I would not hesitate to hop in this car and drive ot to CA, or NY. If I had time, I would've already driven it to NY to see my mom. Farthest out of town I think I've taken it is Little Talladega.
The car, honestly, is intended for somebody who plans to either have the car as a DD, or secondary car, who wants to go to the track, or autox as well. It's very reliable, and very well put together. Plenty of people here have autox'd the car, and can attest to how well it drives and handles. Could
it use improvements? Of course. What car couldn't??
On that note - the car is NOT anywhere near SpecE30 legal, it's never been intended for that, so please don't start that argument. Not everybody feels the need to build a car according to a rulebook in which they will never race by anyways. The car needs tires. I'm sure it could use some loving in some other area's too, but that is the only thing the car 'needs'. Comes with (5) stock 14" basketweaves. Spare in wheel in trunk is perfect, I don't think there is any rash. Only very minor rash on any of the other wheels. I didn't want to put tires on it, mainly, because I knew I was selling it. Why put tires on a car for somebody else, when you have no idea what tire they're going to want to run? Maybe the new owner has a specific tire they want to use, or new rims, etc. You can decide what to put on it. The only other 'bad' thing to note - the rear windows do not work. Has been like that since I bought it. Car also got a new Interstate Group 51 (Honda size) battery when I first got it running, and I have the receipt for this as well, for warranty purposes. Got a Grp 51 for weight savings, what little it is.
I'm asking $3,800, or best offer. Price is negotiable, and Will consider partial trades, but mainly just want cash. I have close to $4k in receipts, and I know I've lost a good bit of them over the last couple years as well. I'd venture to guess that I have ~5500 into this car. I'm not looking to make my money back, I just feel the car is worth in the neighborhood of my asking price. Thanks for looking everybody!!!!!

More pics available upon request. Also - car has black mirrors now, like it's supposed to.
