Honestly I'm not the biggest fan of all of Mike's decisions on his cars, but I do think that overall he builds great looking, and unique, vehicles. Also he does what he wants without much regard for others opinions, which I respect.

And while I do agree that there are more and more cheap, poorly modded e36's as time goes on, I don't think this has anything to do with mike or the poke/stretch school of modding. I think it has to do with the simple fact that E36's are dirt cheap, and anyone with a few bucks can pick one up and start modding. Sometimes that works out great, but oftentimes you get people who just flip through the forums, pick a few random things they think look cool, and then go crazy on ebay. You end up with cars with no central theme, and an overall shitty appearance.

In essence, I am saying that yes, perhaps there is more junk on the forum, but I don't think it has anything do with Mike or the poke/stretch crowd. Also, you have to give them props for bringing in a higher average quality of photography.

but in the last few months people have been turning their bmws into things that just dont fit a bmw. Coilovers are meant for performance, not to drop the car to the ground. Even if it takes work, I doubt they're set up for optimal performance. Good thing my car has only 30Kmiles.

I guess I'm out of touch from the BMW scene by living near detroit. I've never seen an e36 with angel eyes, I've never seen an e36 on style 5s, I don't think I've even seen an e36 that wasn't dead stock (other than my own.)

Honestly I think spastic runs (runs, not ruins) r&s because 90% of the time that he makes a new thread, I click on it, and it's a jaw dropper. He has a huge influence in this sub-forum and a lot of people respect his work and try to mimic him. I don't think spastic joined bf.c and begged people to form an alliance and follow him. Sometimes I think people even try to hard to suck his dick, but I struggle to understand how thread after thread, containing pictures and narratives can ruin a rides and styling forum. :dunno What can ruin a forum is debating over anything other than styling.
