I saw this in a thread that was posted here and decided I couldn't resist, two tones.....

And my pointless bling, although it does make me smile. :)

i have been looking at these pics for a while and i thin my next upgrade is going to be that interior! Where did you find those pieces in that color (the glove box, glove box strip, under steering wheel)? Or maybe i can go to a junkyard and find a car with that color interior and take those piece, what did you do? Oh, and the Mpars look AMAZING!

two tone looks great ;)

not a two tone;)

Interior is hot sexual. Where did you pick up the shift boot and how did you do the panels? I've been wanting to do the boot for a while, but I think this is my new goal.

Awesome E36, condition and interior looks great.

Maybe my taste is strange, but for some odd reason, some Recaro full bucket seats with white stitch leather would go great with the car's theme.

Panels where dyed, the strip above the glove box is a metalizer paint from testors, you spray it, let it dry and then buff it, I used a little bit of 220 grit paper in a horizontal stroke pattern before I applied it to give the "aluminum" a "brushed" texture.

Yup. Wiring was easy, I just followed the tutorials, made some other modifications for a little added anti-theftness....

looks good.. "yellow" bulbs aren't very yellow if you're going for that french fog look.. but maybe you just meant non-HID bulbs..

Nicely done man..could you please PM me info regarding which tutorials you used for the engine start as well as the killswitches?

Also, have you ever accidentally pressed the button (i.e. something dropped, or someone played with it) while the engine was running? If so, how badly did it turn out?

Thanks man!

http://www.bimmerdiy.com/diy/e36startbutton/

I had to locate the connector coming from the green connector wire and that end of the jumper to the center post on the relay for mine to work, don't know if it has to do with the relay itself, or if its particular to the S2000 start button.

I used this website to decipher which pins on the S2K button where what.

http://www.revlimiter.net/mods/s2000_button.html

I had an old computer my brother built for me back when I was a freshman in college (8+ years ago) so I snipped one of the 5 pin power connectors comming from the power supply and used it to connect to button so i didn't have to chop anything up.

Sorry, but I don't share info about my security system over the internet.
