I was inspired to take some interior pics from a great shot in the photo subforum. Here's what I came up with:

Overall, this is my least favorite shot - but it involved me crawling and lying through my trunk to get the shot, for I felt I had to post it up.

Thanks guys - next time I'll play around with an off camera flash to eliminate the harsh shadows. These are all done in a pitch black garage with just the interior lighting from the car.

They were all 25 second exposures, but I couldn't use my tripod as it's too big and it's very tight in there. I ended up supporting the camera with the top of the seats, back of the fold down rear seats, or something of the sort - wasn't very simple.

And a wide angle lens is next on the list, going to rent a few first to find one I like.

ha, i generally just leave the door unlocked or open at get togethers or what not. much easier than getting pulled aside to unlock or open the door all the time for people. i can just scream from where i'm at "yea, jump in - go ahead!"

It's just bmw's OE cloth interior. They've run a similar cloth pattern in all of their non-leather car's throughout all of the genre's. This happens to be their design with the non-leather e36's throughout the world. However, US non-leather cars did not receive the matching door panels.

I think I have a link on my home computer illustrated all of the varieties I'll try to post later.
