Hi,
I changed the rear shocks recently. I'm happy with the results however I started hearing a ticking noise when cold, for about a minute or so, in my rear left wheel well, where the fuel evaporator is placed. The procedure requires the evaporator be removed partially. Also my remote key stopped working.
Do you have any idea about if these may be related? Maybe I was harsh placing the wheel liner and I disconnected some wires, or blocked a pipe?
any ideas?
thx

I figured out why the remote key stopped working. I had to remove the c-pillar panel where the radio antenna and remote key receiver is located. I must have disconnected a jack there while putting the panel back. I checked, there it was. Plugged back in and the key is working.
I found out that my key doesnt need a battery replacement. It's a diamond shaped key. fyi...
I may add more to this text if I find out about the ticking noise too.
