I have had the DDM replica splitters in my garage for some time, haven't had time to put them on it.

How well do they fit?
What type of screws do I need to install them?
Got pics? :D

They fit fine, I used one-inch screws that I found in my basement, and the other guy had pics...that's about how they look on my car as well.

The CF ones they sell fit a lot better than the regular PU ones FYI.

i was wondering how strong are they? are they flimsy plastic? the modbargain splitters i had lasted literally forever.. they were a thick polyurethane .. i could bend them completely backwards, hit curbs.. they were a champ

The DDM ones are also a very thick polyurethane. When I had mine, I can't count how many times I scraped on stuff but they always held strong. They are definitely very durable.

i had mine from ddm and they scraped alot, they didnt break but they did mess up the bumper from pushing it up

Even with my 4x4 status I still scrape them on curbs or in serious potholes occasionally. Yesterday in the mad rush to get my car in the garage during tornado weather I accidentally ran over something in the garage and they both got bent completely under the car...still attached though.

nice, I'll be getting a new set of splitters from them, I had 2 sets of the flimsy plastic ones, and they lasted me a total of 3 weeks.

I honestly think those things are awful. They look cheap and throw the balance of the front end off. Its just two pieces of plastic screwed onto the bumper. Adds no downforce. I don't get the appeal. Especially if you are low.

You can put them on your E34. I went there a few months back and was going to buy a set. I held them up to my bumper and all I would have to trim is a little off the sides.

How do the CF ones hold up to scraping? Do they take the abuse better or worse than the PU? I'm 95% sure I'm gonna go with the DDM CF, but am hoping that they're not so delicate that I destroy them in short order. (and the only comparison I have is my former Reiger Lip which after driving in the snow storm is sadly no more... Pwn3d by hitting unavoidable chunks of snow in the road at freeway speeds. :()

how much are the ddm poly splitters? seems like they are out of stock? i got mine for $75 on a group buy.. now they are like $95...

not paying $100 to have them ripped off again.

Getting Carbon Fiber splitters is a waste. Theyll look good for the first week you have them until they start getting scraped up. Go with ebay splitters. I think they are 50 bucks or so, and if they break, buy another set. But the only way they can break is User Error.

They are great. The CF is only on the front. They are made mostly of Polyproplylene.
