I was reading up on bimmertips regarding the change for the manual tranny (yeop, 2years with my car and i've still to do it...dont get mad:() anyway here's the statement from the website which has me confused:
"1) Service the manual trans & power steering fluids concurrently. The manual trans takes approx. 1.5 quarts and the power steering takes 0.5 quarts of the same automatic transmission fluid. Two quarts complete this job nicely. I replaced w/ Mobil 1 ATF. To date, I've replaced this per 25k miles"
Now I'm buying Royal Purple SynchroMaxx for the tranny and Royal Purple Maxxgear for the differential but according to that I need some ATF for the powersteering, now my question is will the Synchromaxx work for this or what type of ATF should I buy?
