i paid 500 for the car 50 bucks for all four carbon fiber eyebrows.

I honestly dont see the big deal about them. I dislike them also but People made it seem like its the end of the world, if thats his style let it be i think everyone just needs to have more of an open mid. My best friend has an accord and loves chrome rims, i hate chrome rims but i dont basically call him stupid for it its his style and opinion. A slight waste of money when the car could probably use a little touchup paint or something else, maybee but if the op likes it to each their own.

you know i think im gonna leave em on. the reason why,i think they look good. and the more their bashed on the more i think about when i bought my camaro and every one told me not to waste money on it cause its a mid 80s third gen...and now,i cant stop to get gas without getting offers to buy it from me.i tell them all the same thing.thanks but im gonna get buried with this car and the keys in my pocket.now i look at those people who bashed it and their either dirving something normal like a long bed 2 wheel drive s10 cause they cant take out thier project car because the parts are too hard to find or what not.

I dislike the lower eyebrows, but just the top ones don't look bad. In fact, they would look GOOD once the rest of the car is cleaned up and modded. And honestly, do you mod your car so OTHERS can enjoy it or so YOU can enjoy it? Bimmerforums is an awesome place for an HONEST opinion, but you'll get just that. If you attempt to add something to your car other than clears, euro ellipsoids, and anything out of the norm, you can expect for most to hate on it. Good choice in keeping them on the car :buttrock

it has 82000 miles on it it runs.i called the guy about parts and he said hed like to get 500 for the whole car.i paid him there on the spot.he said he couldnt afford to fix it and that the heat didnt work and it needed a clutch.i bled the clutch and fixed that problem.then i looked into the heat problem and he had one tep contro l on hot but the roller thing under the vents was on cold,i turned it to hot and i had heat..theres a more detailed thread i posted... http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1171118

I didn't mean for my comment to be negative really, I don't like them, but I would think that the $50 could have been put to better use if it would have gone into some form of maintenance. I can't imagine that a 93 E36 would be in top shape. Fluids, fuel/air/oil filters, etc...

That's a hell of a deal you got there man, the car has a ton of potential. Eyebrows don't really rice it out, however i don't like them, if you do, then hell leave them on. Just don't rice it out even more :P. Camaro is absolutely sick too. Keep up the good work.

Nice ride for $500. Lose the eyelids, do regular maintenance, clean up the paint and leave it stock. You already have your project car/go fast car. I'd love to have a daily driver I didn't have to put assloads of money into.

Check the cooling system. It is probably the main problem these cars have. I would replace the water pump at least as the plastic propellers shattered after a while and cause problems

dude, its your car... do what you wanna do. fuck what these guys think, most of em ball hang on the same mods time after time. the only suggestions ill make is to upgrade the headlights to Depo or DJAuto and get some coilovers/springs.

I'll be honest. I don't think they're sick. I think they're pretty foul.
But you like them. Who gives any shit whatsoever what anyone else here thinks? Almost everyone on this forum drives the same car, with Kosei K1s, velocity splitters, etc. Do they look good? Of course they do... but if you did what everyone else wanted you to do, your car would be just another cookie-cutter car.

With that said, I suggest that if you want to go a route that makes your car stand out, tacky eyebrows are not the way to go.
