What would be a proper cold reading for these tires? They are 205-45ZR-17" tires. I think I remember 32 as the proper PSI, but not sure if that is a "hot" or "cold" reading. The car is not being used a lot during the winter, and as I check fluids, start, charge battery, etc., I wanted also to check the tire pressure before taking it out again in a week or so.
Thanks!

Tires should always be checked cold.

Cold as in you haven't driven anywhere on them for at least a few hours, preferably overnight.

The ambient temperature will affect the pressure in the tires. You will need to continually add air as winter approaches and you may need to bleed off a little air as summer approaches - depending on your climate, of course.

The ambient temperature affects tire pressures at a rate of about 1 psi per 10 degrees farenheit of temperature change. Higher temp = higher pressure, lower temp = lower pressure.

Find the closest tire to the one you're running on the sticker in your driver's door jamb and use that pressure. 32 is a good starting point.
