well last night was a good time. it was in the 50s and no one was there. for the first hour there was only me and my 3 friends cars. lol. needless to say i got plenty of seat time hot laping the 1/8. funny thing is the more i hot laped it the faster the car got. i picked up 2mph in nice 8 run hot lap.

best run of the night was
2.006 60foot
8.9034 1/8th
78.96 mph

i have about 10 slips in the 9.0 range and about 8 in the 9.1. best mph was 79.11.

mods are jet hot shortys, dinan intake, tse, m50. tires are dunlop z1 starspec. 120k miles with noisey vanos.

Good to see you out there! Are you planning on going back and working on that short time?

yea after i replace the vanos i will drop the tire pressures and give it another go. i would like to see some 1.8 or at least a consistant 1.9. most of my runs were upper 2.0xx

This question is better for the mechanical section but i think I may have vanos noise also. At first i thought it was the clutch fan but it could just as easily be the vanos since they are right next to eachother. It just seems extra loud up there. what noise does the vanos make when its bad?
