After almost six years on my current rims I have finally think it is time to replace them. But I was wondering what to do with my old ones. Should I try to sell them (I still get complements on them to this day)? Or should I keep them and throw a set of winter tires on them and use them in the winter? What do you guys think?

If you don't have them already I'd use them as winter rims. That is if you're going to take the car out in the winter. Or track rims. I'm thinking of using my Contours as track rims (I already have winter rims) once the tires wear out.

Put some cushions on them and use them as an extra chairs for guests. I did this back in college:D

If they're 15" or 16" put winter tires on them, I dunno if winter tires do any good on 17". It doesn't snow much in VA, does it?

Actually it can. Last year we got a storm that kept kids out of school for two weeks in some areas (but then, people don't know how to drive in snow down here because we don't get it that often). The times when it did snow, I ended up using my wife's Durango 4x4.

Yeah I drive with 17" winter tires. They work excellent in the snow and I don't lose handling ability in the winter (of course only applies when the streets are dry).
