Obviously the factory wheels on my 07 328i are not quite "stylish" enough for my taste. Hence the reason I search for some 17" or 18" replacements that do not cost 5k+. The color is Monaco blue, and as much as Chrome's would look great, I would prefer a finished wheel for finish longevity purposes.

So what would you recommend? I know you get what you pay for, so up to $2k for a wheel/tire package is what I am looking to spend. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I would look into a set of 18" Velocity Motoring CSL Wheels. These are available in a staggered setup for your car and IMO are a great upgrade if you want something sportier than the factory wheels without being too aggressive.

Definitely a SHARP looking wheel. Thanks for posting that up.

I was looking at thest on the tire rack:

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/WheelCloseUpServlet?target=runWheelSearch&initialPartNumber=AR17R92AMF&wheelMake=ASA&wheelModel=AR2&wheelFinish=Machined+w%2FAnthracite+Accent&showRear=no&autoMake=BMW&autoModel=328i+Sedan+Base+Model&autoYear=2007&autoModClar=With+Metal+Valve+Stems&filterSize=All&filterFinish=All&filterSpecial=true&filterBrand=All&filterNew=All&sort=Brand

Obviously not as nice or as high quality as what you posted, but the wifey is stingy :( and told me to keep it at about $1K for the wheels.

ASA makes a solid wheel, they are one of the higher end affordable brands out there. Just tell the wifey how many more looks you guys will get with a different set of wheels...it really changes the look of the car :)

I think I could definitely sell those to her :) The 19's really look the best (I love tire racks show on vehicle option). Now with the 19's and 235/35ZR19 tires I am looking at, will I have to have the computer reprogrammed to correct the speed or do they maintain the same outside diameter as the OEM 16's?

An Oh BTW, how does the computer monitor the tire pressure? Will I have to deactivate that system if using aftermarket wheels?

I think I will keep the OEM's for winter driving and go with a good high performance tire that handles well and does not have the road noise of the continental RFT's. Again, using the tire racks usefull reviews, road tests etc... to help in my decision. But it would make my search easier if anyone can recommend some 19's that will get the job done.

The 19" size that tire rack recommends for your car will maintain the same overall diameter (or the closest) as your stock wheels. It is $200 for a set of sensors and valves installed if you buy the package from them (you will need to program them once installed-refer to your owners manual). I got all this info from the link you posted up and Info available at tirerack.com
If you go with a conventional tire over a RFT, it would be worth your while to get a spare, seeing as how your car dosen't have one.

Beyren, I was unsure about them at first but the look really good in person. I have the "Mesh" on my car for the time being, and I was very suprised with the cost and product.

I am looking at the ASA AR1's. I have heard good things about these rims. I am going to try and set it up staggered (225's-front....245's back). It should look pretty beast. Looking maybe to put Kuhmo's or Yoko's on them. Total price for a staggered setup would be about $1300.00

I have also heard good things about the Beyrens.....a little more expensive than the AR1's, (don't know why) but your BMW roundel should drop in nicely on the AR1's or AR2's (from what I have heard. You should be able to get a pretty good setup for $2K. My budget is tops $1300. I have some other stuff I have to get and my total budget is $1500....

Good luck!!!!
