I'm interested in picking up a set for my e39 and was curious if anyone could post some pics of theirs.
as of right now miro reps seem to be the best choice...
please post size and offset as well
thanks

A. prepare to be flamed. If yo'ure not married to a supermodel, buying real LM's, and hanging out at oxygen bars, than bimmer forums isnt for you.
B. I did a TON of research before I picked mine up and can tell you what you want and don't want. Linea Corse has the step lip where as the miro's and "ahem" other brands will just have a flat lip.
check out richy rich and tell him dan from cincinnati sent you. He has the best offset out there, and they are JWL and VIA approved opposed to some other replicas are not. Mine are offset 20 and 15, 19x8.5 fronts and 19x9.5 rears. I believe the miro's are the same but with a dif. offset and the LC's are 19x10. Jo from eurodyne can probably give you more information about them. LC's usually run 1300-1400 shipped, but i believe they only come in a 19. The miro's can come in a 17 and "mine" just a 19 I believe.
give me a few minutes to get together a collection of pictures to help you decide
ok here's some information you may need.
So. . . let's start with the basics. you NEED a 74.1 hub with 5x120 spacing. Otherwise youre effed.
that being said... the Miro's look like this.
http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o161/jvcajita/alt%20wheels%20miro%20design/miro%20wheels/MiRoTypeMO2.jpg
they have NO stepped lip. and only come in these offsets.
18x8 ET 15
18x9 ET 25
19x8.5 ET 15
19x9.5 ET 25
The Linea Corse's do have the stepped lip, but only come in 19". They weight 24 front and 27 rear. Also the fake bolts on the LC's DO NOT come off..just a heads up if you are planning on having them powdercoated or painted.
http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm124/eurodyne/linea%20corse/lemans_rear03.jpg
19x8.5 ET 15
19x10 ET 25
Now a 10" wheel w/ a 25 offset is gonna have .25 inch on the front and rear of the wheel bigger than the 9.5" but if you had a 9.5" rear wheel but with a 20 offset, you're gonna have about the same amount of LIP. The offset simply moves the face of the wheel in or out, acquiring a bigger or smaller lip.
Supposedly BBS is coming down on all these "miro" companies and making them destroy their molds, so snag em up while you can!
the easiest way to tell is the BBS stamp in the face of the wheel, can't disguise that.

you can see the 'stamp' in the upper left hand corner...around 11 o clock
as for my wheels...
I have an entire album dedicated to them here and you can view the pictures of what they looked like before and after powder, but for the lazies here are some pictures... They are 19x8.5 and 19x9.5, ET 15 and ET20 offsets, i'm running a 245 in front with a 275 in rear. powdercoating was done locally by "the wheel doctor"

^^ you can see in this shot how they are different from linea corse wheels. These have a flap lip (or dish) opposed to the LC's which have a step lip (which are more like the real BBS's).
Preparing them for powder::

Mine are *NOT* MIRO but a different vendor. . . if you are truly interested I can let you know, but the seller of these wheels doesn't want everyone knowing (yea i know it sounds sketchy) but because bbs is trying to gobble up all the clones out there (supposedly). Mine were purchasing from BMW MOTORSPORT on this board (and others) . Here is his vouch thread is you want 'my' rims. otherwise contact jo @ eurodyne, or modbargains. I think JO is a stand up guy, i'm sure he will answer any and all questions you have. Rich was also a pleasure to deal with, so it's up to ou.
Here is his for sale thread per say...

and here are some pictures of mine after powdercoating. You can fit a 70mm BBS cap in, but it will not sit flush. I believe they make a 68mm or 65mm cap to fit flush (ask razahyde) but prepare to be a 'poser' . . . i'm just letting you know in case you wanna go that route, i don't judge.
A BMW cap will fit in nicely, here are some shots of mine over the past year.

I haven't taken any new shots due to winter wheels going on last month, and the car has sat in the garage with those wheels on.
IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, fire away, we're all here to help, just some of us are here to make you feel like a broke dick for not wanting to spend $4,000 on real BBS wheels (even though their mega-sick) and rather spend it on house renovations (ahem)...especially when you're roads are shitty and every construction site you see drags their feet ( end rant ).
I'm sure there are others in here that will post pics of their reps, but enjoy!!

The Linea Corsa Z2S's blow them away, IMO....
If I was spending money on reps, those would be my choice.

thanks for such quick responses guys. as far as flaming im ok with it because real bbs on a non m5 seems like a waste of money plus the money i save can go to more mods :). should i have worries with rubbing on 19/8.5 fronts 19/9.5 rears?

Hate to dig up this old thread but I'm really wanting some quality LM reps lately. My issue is that I want 18's but the 18" reps don't seem to look nearly as sweet as the 19". Does anyone have pics of their 18" LM reps on their E39's to share?

I think the one Btemlinedan/Razza had were the same ones that GT tuning werks were selling couple years ago, they are definitely the best reps you can get, but BBS has filed a suit against them, hence they are extremely difficult to find in North America, but they are getting really popular in Europe thou.
I'm 100% sure the factory that makes them is the one I deal with once a while at work, I can ask and see if you guys are interested to set up private GB.
