No pics, but i used a grey primer and clear coat and the color was off.
im using smoke gray paint, trying to match the dove color.
the grey looks better than the wood already, but if this grey doesnt do the job, what have u other guys used on the dovee interior?

I would have gone with a contrasting color. Black.

Pics are needed, but it sounds like a good idea. I can't stand the wood trim either

I think it would be a bit much gray. Photoshop the trim in black and see what you think.

im not a big fan of the grey interiors on these cars, but i think a grey rectangle would look better than a black rectangle on the grey dash. the placement of that glovebox trim piece has always looked awkward to me, so i would try to make it stand out as little as possible.

almost done, i have to spray one more coat of matte spray on it to decrease the shine. let it dry overnight. and ill have pics up sometime tomorrow.
the grey isn't a 100% match. but looks better than a random piece of wood imho.
