After you get a transmission swap from AUTO to MANUAL do you need a ECU upgade so everything runs smooth for ur new manual tranny?

nop, you just sell your ecu from your auto tranny then go get a 12pack and your good.

Not for performance, but you need to have work on your ECU -- I forget if it is a reflash or what. There is a whole thread on this where you can get the details. Bottom line is that you will have a CE light until you get your ECU to understand there is no longer and auto tranny in your car.
