ellipsoid lights dont make you have better lighting right? i want to get them in my E30 and i was wondering if i need to get a HID kit to get the really white lights. is there anyway other than dishing out 500 for a HID kit to acheive really bright white lihgt and not dull yellow?

you get better lighting from an E36 with the ellipsoids, I'm guessing the same would go for the E30 with the euro lights too. What type of bulb is used in you'r '90 325i?

not sure, the stock ones i guess, my headlights are stock also
