Not really. I dont mind if a few of the pixels are bad and i can do the diy tape fix but i don't want a totaly broke one. Thank you though

I have one that was recently replaced and it is the newer style with the ribbon cable soldered to the PC board.Probably there is not a good contact on the display side and a few pixels are missing.
