What is the best way to remove the rear quarter panels? I am picking up a widebody kit hopefully but I need to remove the panels. Any ideas and suggestions?

umm....oxygen and acetylene. most wide bodies just cover up the existing rear panels i thought...either that or bolt straight to them. maybe some cutting of the sheet metal around the wheel well, but i've never known of anyone to completely remove it..

Your in luck, I was looking for the same info & came across these DIY's. You must remove rear seats first. Thank Old Skool, check out his threads they're packed with a ton of info. Good luck!

um... pnumatic metal sheers, oxy/asc torch, and a good grinder. its a HUGE job and i dont mean anything bad by this but if you have to ask how to remove them then you should not be doing it. i dont think iv ever seen a widebody kit that you have to remove the pannels to install tho. most either bolt or weld on to the quarters but you do have to cut around the wheel sometimes.
