Ok I can't get my car to run for shit. At first i thought it was the plugs fouling out because of my leaky valve cover gasket. So I replaced that along with the plugs. The engine will turn over but it isn't getting any fire. The fuel pump is working just fine. I was thinking it was the timing, but I was just informed that the car is running off a chain instead of a belt...anybody know what my problem could be? I'm running out of ideas. Oh yeah before it broke it drove all the way home, but it wouldn't start up again. It was sounding like it was trying til about the third time i turned it over and now it wont do shit.

If you didn't have any running problems before it stopped starting, and I'm assuming the temp is low there, try disconnecting the left hose from the fuel pump and starting the car. If the car starts cut it off, put that fuel hose back on, and that might fix your problem.

Is there a reason you reply to threads like that? Splitting your reply into the title and the body?
:confused
To the O.P. - if I read correctly, it ran after you did the repairs, but would not start again... To me, this sounds electronic. Check all the connections that you disconnected to do the plugs and gasket. Sounds like something worked loose during your drive home.

It worked before the repairs, then died...the repairs I did do didn't help the problem.

I was thinking about mentioning that but figured that it would be like questioning Noah Webster on how he formats his dictionaries. Lol. It does make it a bit hard to understand though. But yes, I agree it sounds like something electrical and possibly the CPS. Perhaps you goofed up the CPS wire when replacing your VC gasket. Also try cleaning the sensor and make sure it's secure.

I never gave it a thought in the past... when using attachments i've frequently put my entire answer in the title since the picture did most of the talking and then just added a period into the message area so it would accept it...
Edit: also my browser using cp settings display linear newest first, the title appears to be part of the thread , one line right after the other...
