my 1995 e34 540i just started (with the check engine light on tho lol) at
-36 celcius...that make -32 F! Who beat that?

Mine started fine in -15C, close enough.

below -40? with 10w30 in it... it was a hard start and i felt bad for my car!

lucky for me i had a new battery! We just blew some records here...it was damn cold in Quebec, i don't know if the same happened in USA! Now it's back to normal, well...-15 Celcius lol!

Mine has done about -40F with no trouble. However, the -60F seen out at my folks' place southwest of Thunder Bay would be questionable.

is that in idaho? I saw on tv that they reached temps of -70 :eek: thats like walk outside, have your sack freeze to your leg and rip it off without even knowing cold!

It was in MN. My parents live in line with Hudson Bay, so they get the SHAFT when it gets cold - flat ground+Arctic air=COLD!

I learned that the white tight undies are the best in this weather, as wearing anytihing less insulating results in numbness and lots of pain "down there".

I wore a t shirt this afternoon... a balmy almost chilly 68 degrees. it'll drop 33 degrees overnight though, and then be in the 60s again tomorrow.
