I am talking to a friend who works with plastics and is going to be trying to make a replica of the halos for me. These would not be the orig. quality, but good quality. Could you let me know if you would be interested. I don't know logistics but would like to get some feedback before I do any digging. Just to let you know, these would take a month or so to make. He is very busy and I don't want to bother him too much. Feel free to email me personally and I will let you know. My home email is
Thanks
Also, please let me know if you would prefer a drop in kit (halos, bulbs, and light housing.) All put together.:D :) :D

Use Lucite. Its a tight fit in a E36 and I'm not sure styrene would hold up to the pounding.
BTW, Sets of lights are available everywhere. I got more tonight to measure them for you lazy guys :)
Even new ones are only $392 including tax for ***two*** light assemblies.
Where's this $800 figure coming from?

jsp98m3, where are you getting the $400 for both housings? Is that a BMW number? Where did you get all of these lights? I have tried and can't find any?
Thanks

Every single bodyshop I've been too has a few stashed away or the bodyshop guys have them at home.

I have been contacted by jasonsmith@chubb.com. He has one set of halo rings that he would be willing to trade for a scavenged 5 series HID reflector and bulb from another light.
So if someone has access to a single 5 series xenon, with some horse trading you can end up with both sets of rings.
