Hey guys so last night i finally completed the drivetrain work and took the E34 for a spin ( loud as HELL... half the exhaust is off). I have a very steep driveway so I decided to leave it in the street for the night and ther were already two other cars in the driveway. Anyway, this morning I received a knock at my door and there was a sweet old lady and she told me she "bumped" my car while backing up. The state patrol was called and alll the necesary actions were taken. I didnt take any pictures of the womans car but half her rear bumper was falling off. Here are some pics of the damages:

Shit man, definitely sorry. I def know how you feel (See thread). At least it was somebody elses fault and not too bad, and by that I mean you should be able to get that fixed in short order right?

Please get a new door lol. But seriously they will probably give you around a grand for repairs. I'm sure you can find an Island or Oxford or whatever color your door is for 200 or less. That leaves you some major monies for parts. Just a thought

same thing happened to my audi. An old man hit the driver side pasenger door but "didn't realize" and left. there were many witness' at the scene, so he was caught, and he wrote a letter stating he didnt know he hit the car and he was sorry and all of his info and so on. i cant tell if he really meant it or not but insurance is all getting sorted out in the end. the car does need a new door.
