Hi, I got hold of a set of Stilauto Racing 7.5Jx17H2 rims, with 235/45 tires. Offset is ET40. Will these fit on a standard E36 325i? I know the PCB etc is all correct, just worried they might rub. Is the 235 not too wide for a 7.5 rim and better to fit 225 all around, or maybe just in the front? Thanks!

you shouldn't have any problems running 235/40 tires i think you mean? 235 is the upper limit on a 7.5" rim, so there shouldn't be any rubbing issues. you may have some sidewall flex issues though if you plan on driving the car hard.
that said the '95 m3's did come w/ DS1s which were also 17"x7.5" wheels w/ 235/40/17 tires.
in conclusion, you'll be good to go w/ 235s if those are what you prefer.
