deys good... vented center and all. Saw pictures when the m5 was being parted out (probably are still some in thread, or the prior for sale thread). Looks just like normal calipers etc otherwise.

I was going to buy them this evening but the wife's car broke this afternoon, sorry Nikos.

GL w/ sale brother.

Was this an EDC equipped M5? I need the front acceleration sensor (there should be three). To check against mine to see if mine is the culprit for susp leve error msgs.

no, but I will now that you mention it. This was a suggestion from my indy. The rear is a little sqatty since the rebuild of la bomba's. Should I unplug it first to see if throws a different code?

The car only throws this code when making a turn or on heavy acceleration, which was telling my indy and me that the EDC responds to fwd/rear and lateral forces which would then adjust fluid to one of the dampers. But I never get the EDC fail code, so you could be right. Either way I'd love to check the front sensor with a different one to see if it's the acceleration sensor, which is $355 new...ugh. Apparently there are three sensors, and the two for the rear are bigger and boxier than the front one, and that the dealers would replace the front one (which was smaller) with the larger more expensive one when it gave out.

I'm too strapped to even look for it even if I knew what it looked like...which is why I'm kinda beggin for the blueM5 one. :cool please baby please

The blue car was not an EDC car.

if it is remotely similar to the 525i touring, it has a mechanical valve on the left side on the swaybar that actually controls height.

the READER (for stupid light/warning) is on the right side connected via a very small rod to the very front of the right trailing arm
and the 3 wires for it are in the BIG harness directly aft of the battery (ie inside the car)

What would you do first? Pop it out and check for corrosion and squirt a little stabilant and pop it back in? I am worthless around a multimeter tho I do have one next to my manfridge fully loaded with Stella Artois and Carta Blanca....for my wrenchin friends I can talk into tinkering for me.

What would I have ....them do iffn I get a volunteer over to the house? I also want to know exactly where that front acceleration sensor is, as my M5T guru in GB asked me to pull it and send him the pn so he could make a recommendation on which one to replace it with...I'm so worthless I don't even know what it looks like

Ok I just read your link....you are one thorough dude

you can;t really pull it easily... test in the car with a meter.
it is a magnetic switch, there is no contact to corrode.
