I went to put some new seats in my car and the driver side swapped out fine. The passanger side motors were bad in the new seat, so I tried to take the seat off the frame and put it on my old frame with the good motors. Well, it didnt take me long to figure out you cant do that. Then, I tried to put the old motors and trans in the new seat. I had to swap them all cause I didnt knw exactly which ones were bad. 4 1/2 hour later, I still have no passanger seat :mad Now I have them both torn apart, neither one of them are going back together and I have to buy another passanger seat with good motors. I know its probably from lack of expereince with seat motors on my part, but lesson learned. Now get to ride around with no passanger seat till I find another to match the driver seat. Well, so much for the date tonight. Guess she'll be sitting on the floor :buttrock

Let me find a DIY.
You can remove the seats from the base :)
I have to run some errands and then I will find the DIY. It can be done!
Sorry it didn't work out 'easy' for you.

The way it looks, is you would have to pull the leather off the bottom part, cause its screwed down on to the frame uner the seat foam.

To be honest I don't remember exactly what was done. I do remember reading it and we did swap a seat bottom at Performing Imports when I worked there.
Will post up a link if I can find it.

Well, I have been playing with the seat some more and I think I might be able to make it work. Might not have any power, but it will atleast bolt in and sit right.
