What is your build date?
Last 7 of VIN?
According to www.BMWtips.com ,
You have a THM-R1 (A4S-270R) transmission.
Which means you can use Unical/ Castrol Dexron III - Mercon.
I would use Amsoil Universal ATF, Mobil 1 ATF, or Valvoline Max Life.
Here is a small write-up I did:

Striding away from the topic a little bit
I heard in our manual tranny cars it's bad to change the tranny fluid after or around 100k since the stock fluid is made to change properties over time to cope with the tranny - and if you want to put in RP, you should do it around 60k~?

Hey Silky!
IMO, you should replace the transmission fluid every 20-30 miles, regardless of the type of transmission, or the amount or total mileage on the car.
If you want to use Royal Purple, then go ahead.
I know people have used Redline, Castrol, or OEM transmission fluid.

It's the tranny flush you want to stay away from.
You guys probably already know all of this, but I'm posting it for those that don't...
Do I have a ZF or GM Transmission?/ What kind of tranny oil should I use? (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showpost.php?p=10993335&postcount=62)

Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF, Amsoil ATF, or Royal Purple ATF.
