Hi guys, my first question...

When i had my E46 coupe, i changed the standard halogen headlamps to the genuine bosch xenon headlights. i also changed the light module to a 'xenon flashed' light module from the same car.

If i put in xenon headlamps into the E90, would i also need to change the light module? or can anyone recommend any good aftermarked ones i can put in?

i have become so used to xenons now, i can never really tell that easily if the halogen headlights are on or not lol

A xenon retrofit on the E90 is a bit more difficult but does require a new LCM and reflash of the computer. You may need to do some wiring as well to enable the bixenon setup. There are a few guys in E90post who have documented the transition but it is involved and expensive.

Your best bet is a set of OEM headlights as the aftermarket versions are terrible in terms of quality and functionality.

Oh, ok, where would i find a write up about the mod? i wouldnt be bothered with the bi-xenon option, just the low beam. i would only get the OEM ones, i dont really like aftermarket stuff.

Thanks

I regret not opting for the Xenons..
