I found a pretty nice 2006 325 sedan for my sister, but have a few questions.

The car does not have xenons, so does that mean it also does not have projector headlights?

Also the dealer has it listed that the car has heated seats, but I don't see the buttons anywhere. The car does have navigation, however, so is that why there are no visible heated seat buttons. Are the heated seats activated through the idrive screen?

Thinking about making an offer on this car today fellas, really need some answers asap. Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean by projector headlights, if you mean adaptive then no it doesn't have them
The heated seat buttons are on the center stack at the bottom above the ashtray.
To have the heated seats it should have the cold weather package

Not necessarily, that option can be ordered separately.

OP, no buttons means no heated seats.

thanks fellas. i am stuck between two cars. one has no xenons, no power or heats seats, but it does have Nav and is CPO

the other has no nav, but does have xenon, heated and power seats but is not CPO

Prices are similar because one is offered with the bmw 0.9% financing and the other while cheaper to purchase requires a bank loan at 5%

Which one would you choose?

I would go with the CPO car.

Bottom line, I agree with CABimmer. Here's my logic with respect to each variable:

1) Xenons. I don't have them on my car. It's the one thing I really wish I did. But it's not a dealbreaker, IMHO. I can live without it.

2) Power seats. Nice feature, but really, when it's your own daily driver, once your seats are adjusted, you rarely touch the controls.

3) Heated seats. I use them, but only in the AM, only on the lowest setting, and only for a minute or two, since it heats up pretty fast. (My wife, OTOH, uses it at the highest setting, for an entire trip.) To each her own, but I could do without.

4) Nav. The majority of 3 series I see don't have it. With the prices of portable GPS units, I don't see Nav as necessary.

5) Price - as you stated, ultimately, it's a wash.

6) Okay, last, but certainly not least, the CPO factor. You said the car is for your sister. Unless she has Rhino ramps and a full set of Torx bits, the extended warranty really, really tips the scale.
