Larger tires in the back then the front

So yeah, maybe this is a dumb question,

But what happens if you have 18"s rims / tires in the back, and 16"s in the front???

nothing, if you get the right tire size... it will just look funny... big rim, thin tire in the rear... small rim, thick tire in the front... car should ride fine tho...
