Hi All,

Anyone here know of a "how to" on replacing the seat pads (cushions) in the Sport Seats of an E39?
This is not covered in the Bentley manual, and I have not found anything on line as yet.

This would seem to be a good option for my sagging drivers seat rather than trying to find M5 seats in as good condition as my sport seats.

Thank you in advance for any help!

I was looking into doing the same thing. Probably not too hard to do. I anticipate removing the seat and learning by doing . . .

Also thinking about swapping the leather from driver's to passengers side to even out the bolster wear.

I have taken a seat apart and it's not tough. You will need hog ring pliers/ tool to reassemble. I'd guess it's a five hour job per seat for a first timmer.
