Well I guess it's time to abandon the e30 M3 s52 swap. I've been sitting on this car for more than a year looking for the right e30 m3, I finally came to my senses and realized I would be way over my head so I picked up a 99 RMS Supercharged M3 and need the garage space.

Car has 127k on the chassis and bottom block. Head was resurfaced and at the same time the Schrick cams and HD valve springs were added. This was redone at 117k (have receipt). Less than 3 months after head work was done I was rear ended on the 101 while stopped in traffic.

Don't have any recent pics, but this car would be best suited for parting out or doing an e30 or e36 swap. Here are some old pics so you can see the extent of the damage. At the moment, I can not get any new pictures since my old man spilled coffee on the garage door opener and I'm locked out for another 2 weeks until I can get a replacement. :(

Please note, no exhaust is included with the sale!

I'm looking for $4,250 obo. And Bryan, if you see this, come up with some money quick so I can sell this to you!

Questions, comments?

Is the frame straight? how bad is the damage?

No I can't recommend trying to fix the car up. The rear right frame rail was pushed back about 4 - 6", the entire rear sub frame would need to be dropped and a new spare tire well installed. Also the rear quarter would need to be replaced, it crumpled pretty good.

I was quoted $9,200ish from B-Line in San Jose. If someone owned a body shop, they might be able to get away with maybe 5 - 7k in repairs? That's why I think this car would be a good swap candidate or just straight part out.

Also, the car is still drivable, and as long as you had a battery you could drive it instead of towing it, but the rear feels very loose on right corners. I might be able to get a 1 or 2 day temporary registration from AAA.

Is it a salvaged title?

It's technically a clean title. But I'm in no way or shape advocating trying to rebuild the car. If I could get into my damn garage I'd snap a pic of how badly bent the rear right frame rail is.

And Sean, I know Bryan wants the car to swap the s52 into his 325, but I'm seeing if I can get a lump sum instead of payments.
