Ok, I tried a search and didn't find any results so I'm sorry if this has been posted before. My clock seems to be counting fast. I set it roughly 7-8min ahead but now 2 months later it is 50 min ahead. Has anyone ever experienced this?

It's the hyperdrive. Plug R2 into the OBD, let them figure it out.

I dunno, never heard of this before. Does QSilver have a chart for it, we shall see.

Did you turn the clock back for daylight saving time back in November :dunno

But seriously...I have nothing. I'd just readjust the time as needed.

lol yeah I set it for daylight savings. The only reason I haven't adjusted it is because I've been watching it to see if it would stop or get faster ect.

The only good thing is I'm ALWAYS ahead of schedule. :alright

BTW...some of us older members (age wise) on the forum may have a different perspective about car clocks.

Growing up during the 60s, 70, 80s etc (don't remember car clocks in the 50s...I was "too" young)...clocks in American made cars were notorious for not being able to keep time. In fact, they were usually the first feature on the car to break! :lol

The semi-conductor really has changed a lot of things that touch everyday life. :)

This is called Albert Einstein's relativistic theory, time is relative not absolute haha....:)

This is an unknown problem in the E39 community. Never heard it before!
Reset the clock to your cell phone (cell phone clock is ACCURATE) tomorrow and report back in one week!

Curious...did you ever report back with an outcome (sorry if you did, I must have missed it)? Is your clock still running fast?
