already searched - help with OEM "angel eyes" entire housing into 1997 540i/6

So I searched, but difficult to find the answer to my specific question. I've been to BMWTips...

I recently smashed my front end, so I upgraded headlights (entire housing / headlamps) to the newer, NON-HID, halogen, with angel eyes and projector set up.

1. The blinkers don't fit. (get OBC to tell me to check side lights) - i'm assuming I need a harness...

2. the angel eyes... I don't have a lug harness for this. Where do I begin?

In regards to doing seach on wiring lights.

Considering the're all sort of upgrades out there on E39 lights from different manufactures, if he does not know that. its not really going to help to run a search and come up with a huge number of threads covering all sort of headlights. Even Hella lights bring different plugs and those are OEM.

I read the title, If he got real Hellas they come with all the adapters to do the upgrade. If he got all the adapters and instructions that come with real Hellas like i got when i bought a set of real Hellas, Then he would not be asking this question. Maybe we should wait till the OP answers the question..??

Well bmwtips tell you what is required for the the AE for pre 2001 .. I did mine following their instructions ..

As Martin indicated you will need the hella adaptor .... which will plug in the blinkers and the AE you will have to splice into the parking lights .. as stated on bmwtips.com

try any local vendor on this forum for the hella adaptor .. umnitza, euro dyne, jlevi ..

as the OP, sorry for leaving it open ended.

I got a set of used OEM, HELLA, angel eye projector halogens. They were a decent deal, and I didn't want to deal with the XENON / HID ones throwing the flag of "check lowbeam."

But right now I need to find that adapter / harness for the blinkers... AE i'll follow the directions on BMWTips.

Anyone know the name or what this harness is called specifically? Looks like I am looking for the "Hella Adapters"?
