Will a 17" sport wheel from a 2003 330CI (E46) fit a 1999 323IC (E36)??
Thanks for any help.

what tire specs are you looking to run? 225/45/17?
are you talking about style 119's? if so w/ 225/45/17 tires i think they will fit...

you might have fitment issues on the back you need to find out the exact offset...
but my edjumacated guess would be they'd fit...! you thinkin about buyin some?
i would try to find someone local to do a test fit... or if the seller is local. guess i'm tryin to say just try it
good luck and let us know

Thanks for the response guys. I currently have a set of 17" DS2's from my son's 95 M3 that I'm running on my 323IC and they fit fine. I'm looking at replacing the DS2's with the 2003 17" M #68 wheels. I would think they would fit, based on the M3 17" wheels I have on now, but wasn't sure if there was any offset or bolt pattern change/compatibility issue with the E46 M wheel. It's a two hour drive (one way) for me to purchase the wheels.

Bolt patterns are the same 5x120 for all 1982+ BMW's with a 5-bolt pattern, and probably prior years too if a 5-bolt wheel. Offset and bore are your bigger concerns. Bore is fine unless the wheels are from a 1996-2003 E39 5-series.
Look for the offset on your current wheel, it'll be cast into the back side of the wheel. Same for the new wheels. The Felgen-Katalog for BMW wheels shows the Style 68 wheel being available in 4 different offsets, so be careful about that.

Thanks for that info Pixman. I'll check on those numbers.
I found a site that may be of help for folks looking for wheel type and fitment info. I can't post url's you need to fill in the www portion on your own. The site is k-lach.net
