The first thing I did on my last 540 (1997) was buy new OEM Hella AE headlight assemblies. At the time the Depos were pretty new on the scene and not very good quality. I think now, the Depos guys are putting on their cars look much better. I think the quality has come up while price has gone down.

yeah the lightout put isnt bad, its just the housing design, eekk

The light output will be bad after the outer cover starts hazing over, and cracks on the inside. Really starts to look like poo as well.

Why did you use the "H" word? all I did was state the fact that I bought the P39's and the build quality is lacking after a little over a year in comparison to the Hella's. But that is just my experience.

Thanks! I got them from the guys at DDM Tuning. Took them a while to assemble but I'm just glad I got them.

Thanks. I do think the quality has become better over the years. I showed them to my indy and he said my lights had a solid built unlike some other ones (cheapo ebays) he had installed on others. I hope the quality lasts though!
