i am aware that i need to get an alignment after i swap out the shocks and struts, but is an alignment necessary after sway bar installations? also, in order to install the front sway you have to jack the engine up, do i need to undo motor mounts or just snake it through? thanks.

You will need to lift the engine a bit, and lower the subframe a lot in order to get the front one in and out.
The rear is easy.
And the front might throw off the alignment cuz of the subframe movment. But I'm talking about .02 of a degree, nothing major.
DO IT!
Did you get Eibachs? I have them and love them.

What is your mileage?
What are you planning to use for front struts and rear shocks?
New mounts?
Spring pads?
New rubber bump stops?
2x upper control arms - aka - thrust arms = approx. $250
2x tie rods = approx $225
Powerflex poly bushings?

dang jason!!! you know entirely too much! i'm at 93,000ish miles. i went with the billy sports, b and g springs, and all new pads and mounts. i'm happier than a kid on christmas day! not to mention i'm doing a complete cooling system repair along with a valve cover gasket.:D i'll be sure to post pics with the new suspension as soon as it comes in.;) i think i'm the second person to run this setup.

Those are next. I'm probably going do the Meyle HD ones. I am also going to replace the ball joints. Just had to stop buying stuff once I was well over a G$$$.:D
If you are going to replace the ball joints, then just replace the whole front upper control arm, since it already has the new bushing and ball joint.
I think the Meyle upper control arms are around $150 each...
I had my front control arm bushings replaced already, under warranty.
I am sure the ball joints are beyond shot now, LOL!
Just like the rest of the suspension.
Thanks!

Thats a great deal. I think I paid about $155 for mine. From what I've read here, I'd stick to the Lemfoerders and avoid all copies. Just some advice to the OP.

I am sure Jared probably has the front upper control arms/ thrust arms for cheaper.
I was guesstimating the price for the Meyle HD arms.
They cost more than the Lemfoerders because they have the heavy-duty bushings.

The HD bushings are nice and worth the money. It just sucks that their arms cost more than buying the bushings and arms separately.

Do they squeak? I could care less about stiffness, but I can't stand squeaks

No squeaks. The HDs are just like OEM but not fluid filled.

Meyle doesn't make 540 arms with the bushings unfortunately.
Here's the bushings.
