I don't know about you guys but the BMW door jam panels on my e34, also called "sills", are old, cracked, and overall shitty looking...

Scroll ALL the way down when the whole page loads. Very nice AC Schitzer door sills for ONLY $54.00!!!! How much cheaper can an upgrade get? Anyways just thought I'd share it with you guys...

Btw Merry Upcoming Christmas to those who celebrate it.

bblazen-hows the E34 comin along?

that website has some cool stuff like an M-tech II wheel specific to the E36 which i assume means they switched out some of the backing harware to make it adaptable to newer columns....i.e. later production E34's

The 540 got the ugly sills. My 525i has black/silver ones that look great.

That looks really good, but the normal ones are fine..

How does the 540 look like?

How does the 540 look like?

Like butt. It's the faded off-white with chrome stripes. It gets dirty and is unclean-able.

Unless you have a lot of other exterior ACS goodies on your car, having those will only make you look like a poser.

Besides, I really like stock; therefore I have discovered a better mod: I leave them stock, and for 0 dollars I have something I like. Amazing.

Maybe so, but you're trying to make it as real as possible. Throwing on a set of ACS door sills on a car that has nothing else ACS on it is (IMO) like putting on a M badge on the back of a stock e34.

He's saying that it's a bit off to have just the ACS door sills. Having the wheels, exhaust, whatever is fine but door sills?

The clear edges on the original 540 sills turned this nasty yellow color and I def want them replaced.

I personally don't think that getting ACS sills will make anyone look like a poser...honestly you only see them when you open the doors so its more of a personal satisfaction...

Who's eyes would I look like a poser in? As far as I know, all I have to do is drop the clutch and leave them in a fatty cloud of smoke... Yepp poser power....

All I'm saying is to have the door sills and nothing else is a bit off. They should be the finishing touch on an ACS car, or a car even with just ACS wheels. Same with the Racing Dynamics stuff.

Again, you should look at the 525i's door sills. They look like they did in '95, still good-looking and tasteful.

I see exactly what you're saying and I completely agree with you but the reason why I'm getting them is because they're new and not because they're ACS. And the price is good too. If they were BMW and not ACS I would still get them because I need door sills and they just happened to be ACS. I honestly dont think there is anything wrong with that...

That's fine, it's not like angel eyes or eyebrows.

I would rather save the money and buy stock 525i ones used but if the ACS ones are cheap then fine...hard to go wrong there.

I wanna be just like him?

Just wondering.. I have racing dynamics headers and i tooled with the idea if i found RD wheels then I would add the sills.. But havent found the wheels so I am sticking with the M5 sills..

where are they listed on thier site? They are left over stock, and not on the site.

I'm sure they have more.

I don't have their number on me at the moment, but next time I have my phone I'll put up a number you can call.

ah thank you my friend!

the drivers side and front passengers sides on mine are becoming a bit worn out. im sure theres plenty of life left in them... but who needs stock when cheap cool quality aftermarket is available?? :)
