I tried over on the Audio board, but there doesn't seem to be much action over there. Just got a deal on a C43 Business Cassette player, got it installed, works great. (C43 is the cassette version of the CD43)

What is everyone's favorite AUX input module? What years/models did this C43 unit come in, so i can cross reference? I really don't want to charge/control my ipod, i just want to feed the source in as AUX as i woudl rather control from my ipod.

Ebay has a few, the DICE setup, as well as the GROM setup, and some no names.

Any suggestions? Does the dice setup have an AUX as well as the Ipod wire?

The DICE will give you iPod integration as well as an AUX input for other devices. You'll be using the e36 kit since this radio is sourced from that vehicle:

DICE - SILVERLINE iPod Integration Kit for 3 Series/M3 95-99 (Radio Interface)

Text display is only supported on the CD version of that radio, but all other features are still available.
