-2 here this morning. Just replaced the wiper motor (last week) and things were ok for a while. This morning on the way to work I tried using the wipers/washers and the moved so slow the washer fluid froze on the windshield, and the wipers stuck half way back down.

NEbody else with this problem?

Don't some of the e34's have a heated washer fluid tank? When i replaced my pump, there was a wiring harness right there that looked like it was proably for the heated tank. Might want to look into buying the tank heater setup and adding it.

I can deal with the washer fluid, but not the actual wipers stopping midway on the windshield. Washer fluid freezing was the after-effect.

grease is old and sticky? needs to be replaced with fresh synthetic would be my guess.

-2 is too damn cold to be driving anyway. Stay home until it gets back to at least the 30s

:) I'm waiting for it to hit 45 before i go anywhere today.

I gotta go out and see if my carwash hose defrosted yet. it got below 30 last night for the first time this year.
