is there any good road courses in nc to take your daily driver and give it hell?

I remember there being Auto-cross races in Sanford, NC at the old airport. Try this link:

VIR is right on the border with NC.

^ what he said. Sounds like a Beginner/Novice/HPDE1 group at any of these VIR events is what you're looking for...
