Ordered wheels and tires… Wheels and tires don’t fit…

Having the privilege of living in Toronto, I figured it would be a good idea to throw on a set of wheels and tires for the winter.
So I put together a wheel and tire combo that I was told would fit a 09 335 xi. Well… They don’t.

So here is what I got, and don’t need.

4 Qty: 17” x 8” Sport Edition KM11 Bright Satin Finish
4 Qty: Sport Edition F10 center cap
4 Qty: Required centering ring
4 Qty: 225/45R-17 Pirelli Winter 210 Sottozero RFT RunFlat
1 Qty: Pirelli Registration Card
1 Qty: Pirelli Warranty Packet
4 Qty: 433MHz Tire Pressure Sensor
4 Qty: Required Valve

So these SHOULD fit any other 3 Series other than the 335xi (not sure about the non x-drives)

So my question is who wants these??

ps: THEY ARE BRAND (profanity restraint) NEW!

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Can't you return them though? Whoever sold them to you didn't guarantee fitment?

If you try again, check out Tire Rack. They have excellent customer service and will guarantee fitment.

+1, any reputable shop should guarantee fitment. Just don't be shy to ask or argue your case with wherever you bought them from. At most you'd have to pay for shipping if not local and maybe some sort of restocking fee, which would still probably be less than what you'd lose selling them over the internet and a lot less hassle for sure.

P.S. You probably want to put this in the Tire/Wheel wanted section. Let me know and I can move it there for you.

Actually the problem has been resolved. The reputable shop installing these are BMW dealer in my area, and I bought them from Tire Rack who I have to say has the best customer service ever. These guys were all over the mess that the dealer created and cleaned up properly. The fitment problem according to the "service" guy at the dealer told me that the diameter of the hub was bigger than the diameter of the hole in the wheel. I asked him if it was the adapter that was an incorrect fit, and they assured me that the wheel was incorrect. The Tire Rack guys got through to service boys and fixed it all up. Turned out it was the adapter and the Fedex'd a new set overnight.

Kudos to Tire Rack, always great customer service and best prices to boot and their success doesn't get to their head so they don't seem to have slacked off in the 9 something years I have been dealing with them.
