Hi guys. I am normally all over the rest of this board, But tonight I am busting my Mini virginity.
So here goes.
We are looking for a 2008-2009 Mini Cooper S clubman.
I am looking for any feedback you guys have on these cars for one.
Secondly I am wondering if anybody knows anybody and any of the
dealerships local to me. I am in the Orange county area of Southern
California. We have the $$ and will be buying within the next week for
sure.
I would like an 09 but the deal's may be better on 08's. I have not been to
any dealerships yet so I dont know what deals are out there.
TIA for any help guidance given.

Long Beach Mini is good.
Irvine is alright. I think theres one at Crever as well.
Just type in Orange county Mini dealers
Or check Minis website for finding a dealer.

I bought my car from Long Beach BMW, their Mini dealership is pretty much within the BMW buildings.
Good guys, the service department there is great. Ask for Mike (there's only one Mike there), he really hooked me up.

Alta probably has the most upgrades of any of the aftermarket tuning companies. Do not rule out the JCW catalog though. MINI offers a ton of upgrades depending on what you would like to do and everything is covered under warranty. The Cooper S Clubman will see a ton of new things added this year in the line.

Let me know how you like the car. I'm really considering selling my e36 M for a MCS. They look really fun to drive.

Go drive one. I traded my 1999 E36 323is for my first one. What a blast to drive. No front whell drive car other than my 1983 VW Rabbit GTi has been so much fun!

I had a lot of fun on the test drive. I'll be keeping my M's for all of the asc-off tail happy action.

I sold my E36 M3 for the MCS, and find it a lot more fun. The FWD aspect is a little strange, but I was able to make the car a lot more balanced with a 25mm Hotchkiss RSB. Now it's getting to be a lot more enjoyable.......
It's a solid car with some real smile generating abilities...
